The Italian Space Agency (ASI) announced the market survey for industrial activities related to "Evolved Hyperspectral Prototipal Products" aimed at investigating on possible economical operators provided with technical skills satisfying the specific service for Evolved Hyperspectral Prototipal Products.
The Italian Space Agency (ASI) has been present for some time in the earth observation field with "hyperspectral" electro-optic instruments with significant investments since the implementation of the PRISMA National Mission. In this context, ASI is developing the Italo-Israeli SHALOM program and, amongst the key elements for the future operational success of the mission, the primary role is to make it possible to exploit the huge quantity of data products (Up to level L2) by the potential Institutional Users and the ability to provide high-added-value information through high-level (L3 / L4 level) products.
Within this scenario, ASI intends to initiate a preparatory development activity for Evolved Hyperspectral Prototype Products (L3 / L4 level) to demonstrate the applicative potential of the SHALOM mission and, more generally, of the hyperspectral spatial missions.
The deadline for the submission of applications is 26 April 2017, 12:00.
